What does BOPA provide for farms?

BOPA provides fleets of autonomous nano tractors (ANTs) that weed and spray small and mid-sized farms, complete with a comprehensive program featuring training, planning, and support.

What kinds of crops and farmland do BOPA and the ANT work well with?

The ANT is well-suited for weeding a variety of field crops such as beans, beets, potatoes, cabbage, broccoli, chilies, and organic feed crops including soybeans and corn. The ANT is adjustable and with the proper training can adapt to a variety of farm environments. Contact us if you have questions on how BOPA can help your farm!

How many ANTs do I need?

You can use our pricing calculator to get an immediate estimation on the number of ANTs and total cost based on the size of your farm.

How much land can the ANT manage in a day?

The ANT’s capacity depends on the specific tasks and field conditions, but it is optimized to handle the daily needs of small to medium-sized farms efficiently. 1 ANT on average can handle weeding responsibilities for 500 acres / year.

How do you handle maintenance and support needs for the ANT?

Working with BOPA, you don’t just purchase the ANTs – you receive a year-round membership that brings training, support, and repair as needed to keep the ANTs working for you and your farm.

Can I just buy the ANTS without a BOPA membership?

At this time, the membership and the technology are both integral to BOPA’s services. All farms that we work with are required to opt-in to a BOPA membership so that our training and support can ensure the success of the ANTs on your farm.
